Delay -_-

I’m having a Disneyworld type opening right now. Experiencing multiple power outages, so the strip will be up when we get that resolved. I still expect it to go up today, but it’s hard when the computer keeps shutting off because it’s a desktop. Wish me luck.

Remodeling

I've got some decisions to make about Henaji. This is going to result in a small delay with the second page, but in return, I'm going to fix up the first page as well. I basically have two character designs to choose from, and while I sort of know how I want said character to look the initial design is pretty darn cute! So I'm going to solve the quandary and get back to it. Expect the second page to go up later on Tuesday.

And so it begins... Still working out some kinks as well as trying to decide how to go about hosting this on a place that lets me have a character page, etc. Meanwhile, I'll keep updating. I suppose Henaji is indeed born on the first day of 2013. Awesome. The sister site to this is henaji.tumblr.com . Allright, time to get down to business with this idea of mine that's been percolating for around four years. Here's some backstory on me. I have a Bachelor's of Science in Animal Science, and I've been out of college for four years now. I'm going back for a second degree in Veterinary Medical Technology. Arting so I don't stagnate, and writing for just about the same reason. Henaji goes up in January 2013. Does this mean it will go up on New Years? No. First week in January's going to be my last bit of vacation before school starts, so expect something around the 7th or so. Schedule will be Tuesday and Thursday because I'd like to challenge myself at adhering to a schedule. So in all, this endeavor will be about challenges. Henaji's too young for resolutions, so don't even try that. Happy New Years, people.

Gearing up for a 2013 release

So a lot has happened between when I first posted here and now. I'm currently unemployed, so what better use of my free time than to bring to life something I've been so long pondering, no? I've got to find my old scrips and get the hang of drawing characters more than once, so that's going to take a bit, but I'm very optimistic. Sorry for not posting so much, but I was very busy trying to get things straightened up in my life. Once again, sorry, and yes, it's true: I'm going to try for releasing Henaji as a webcomic in 2013. Doesn't mean I won't be posting anything until then, so look for sketches/drawings/script-shares.  At the same time, I'm also still trying to look for a job (unless I'm good enough to do this as a job, ha ha). But I think there's something against Kickstartering a webcomic with my sort of content, so perhaps not.
