And so it begins... Still working out some kinks as well as trying to decide how to go about hosting this on a place that lets me have a character page, etc. Meanwhile, I'll keep updating. Allright, time to get down to business with this idea of mine that's been percolating for around four years. Here's some backstory on me. I have a Bachelor's of Science in Animal Science, and I've been out of college for four years now. I'm going back for a second degree in Veterinary Medical Technology. Arting so I don't stagnate, and writing for just about the same reason. Henaji goes up in January 2013. Does this mean it will go up on New Years? No. First week in January's going to be my last bit of vacation before school starts, so expect something around the 7th or so. Schedule will be Tuesday and Thursday because I'd like to challenge myself at adhering to a schedule. So in all, this endeavor will be about challenges. Henaji's too young for resolutions, so don't even try that. Happy New Years, people.

Gearing up for a 2013 release

So a lot has happened between when I first posted here and now. I'm currently unemployed, so what better use of my free time than to bring to life something I've been so long pondering, no? I've got to find my old scrips and get the hang of drawing characters more than once, so that's going to take a bit, but I'm very optimistic. Sorry for not posting so much, but I was very busy trying to get things straightened up in my life. Once again, sorry, and yes, it's true: I'm going to try for releasing Henaji as a webcomic in 2013. Doesn't mean I won't be posting anything until then, so look for sketches/drawings/script-shares.  At the same time, I'm also still trying to look for a job (unless I'm good enough to do this as a job, ha ha). But I think there's something against Kickstartering a webcomic with my sort of content, so perhaps not.

Raven: That shouldn't have happened.
Jericho: Oh come, love, you needed it.
Raven: It wasn't fair to Guy.
Jericho: Love, you were leaking need all over the place.
Raven: (blushes) You weren't supposed to know that.
Jericho: I've literally got a tie to you and Guy, so it's not like it's hard to detect. If anything, it's hard to ignore.
Raven: This isn't right. We should stop and rethink this.
Jericho: 'Fraid not, dear, you're mine.
Raven: And is Guy yours as well?
Jericho: (sits up, looks uncomfortable).
Raven: Is he?

Jericho & Raven

Jericho: Love?
Raven: You can still call me that after what you've done?
Jericho: of course I can, dear. I still consider you mine.
Raven: Last time we saw you, you were cursing our names and swearing vengeance upon us.
Jericho: Oh, but you like it when I call you bitch, and all other manner of things.
Raven: and you're the reason why Guy and I had to leave the Aether.
Jericho: You coveted my kingdom, love, I couldn't just let you have it without a good fight.
Raven: Heh, you got a fight. You got more than you bargained for-.
Jericho: (Silences her with a kiss, pressing her against the bar.)
Raven: (eyes wide) Please...
Jericho: (Bites her neck)  Scream for me...

Inju & Wisp

Raven walks in on a very conflicted Wisp: the fairy is starved, and the only available creature in the shop happens to be Inju.
Wisp: (bristles) mreep!
Raven: (urgently) Inju, don't touch her!
Inju:(was totally reaching for her) Wha-?
Raven: Her kind is meant to distract aned ultimately kill humans by drining them of their most dominant negative emotion.
Inju: (wide-eyed with fear) But she's my friend!
Raven: I'm sure you'll keep beliving that while she siphons your soul.
Inju: (shaken) My soul?
